French’s Fish & Chips

French’s, which has been luring customers in Wells-next-the-Sea with its bait of freshly cooked local fish and chips for 90 years, has been in the same family since it opened its doors.

The shop was opened by William Thomas French who passed the business onto his two sons Maurice & Reggie who then subsequently left it in the capable hands of Marcus French.

The Fish & Chip shop has won many awards over the years including ‘Best in Region’ for the National Fish & Chip Awards 2016.

French’s is a classic seaside chippy- but of course, with a couple of small twists!
